The Crosby Academy of Real Estate Education and Review (CAREER) is an Illinois State Licensed Real Estate School and rooted in its home town of Rockford, Illinois. CAREER is owned and managed by two School Administrators, real estate licensees Jean Crosby and Kevin Horstman. 

Jean is the current Designated Managing Broker of a successful Rockford, Illinois Real Estate firm and is a former Director of the Real Estate Division for the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). Jean is also a National Association of REALTORS® Distinguished Service Award recipient, which is a prestigious title awarded annually only to two recipients out of a million REALTOR® members. The National Association of REALTORS® is the largest trade association in the nation. Jean is the 82nd recipient of the title. Locally, Jean is an active member of the Rockford Chamber of Commerce and their Lead 360 endeavors.

Kevin is a full time Real Estate Authorized Managing Broker, Agent Mentor, and Real Estate Instructor. Kevin is a graduate of the 66th Class of Leadership Rockford. Whether it is sale volume in a prior career of LTL freight or sale volume in his real estate career, Kevin consistently performs in the top percentile of his chosen industry. 

Jean and Kevin believe in representation at a political level. Both have represented their individual political District within the Winnebago County Board. Both believe in service before self, client before commission, taxpayer before bureaucracy, and above all, a firm belief in doing what is right and providing more value in their work than they receive in pay.
